Checklist: Ship One SEO Blog Post Without Chaos

Shipping one blog post each week is easier when the team shares a single checklist. This post is a short operating list you can copy into your project tracker.

Before drafting

  • Pick one audience problem, not three
  • Name the primary keyword the page should own
  • Link the proof you will use (docs, product UI, or a customer story)
  • Write the intended public URL slug

While drafting

  • Keep one idea per H2
  • Prefer concrete steps over slogans
  • Cite product behavior with a link to the product page
  • Remove any sentence that does not change a reader decision

Before publish

  • Title, meta description, and H1 agree with each other
  • Canonical URL matches the public path
  • A human verified every product claim
  • Social captions are drafted but not posted yet

After publish

  • Open the public URL and confirm the title renders
  • Request indexing if that is part of your stack
  • Post social only after the page is live

Use this checklist as a gate, not as decoration. If a box is unchecked, the post is not ready.
